The Apple iPhone is almost here
Apple's new toy, the iPhone, is almost ready to hit the retail store shelves. I can already hear the rumblings of hundreds of Apple consumers bursting through the doors of their local Apple stores in search the new phone that's an iPod... that's a video player... that's a web browser... that's basically going to print tons of money for Apple.
Buy Blu-ray and get lots of free stuff!
HighDefDigest.com is reporting that the Blu-ray Disc Association on July 1 will begin offering a "five free discs" deal with the purchase of any new Blu-ray disc player. Between July 1 and September 30, consumers who purchase any new Blu-ray player (including the PlayStation 3) will automatically qualify to receive five free Blu-ray movies (out of a total selection of twenty-two titles).
Microsoft's Xbox 360 gets Elite
With the announcement of the up and coming Xbox 360 Elite, Microsoft is poised to improve their bid for king of home entertainment electronics. The new Elite SKU will house a 120GB harddrive and a built-in HDMI along with a complete black exterior. Microsoft has stated that they will also be releasing black accessories to match the new console's appearance.
