Kristin Davis and Rick Fox are couple according to the reports we've heard around the net. You might remember Kristin Davis as a member of the cast of HBO's Sex and the City. Rick Fox is a former NBA star who won a couple of championships with the Los Angeles Lakers (when Kobe and Shaq were a couple). Fox also has had minor success as an actor.
Jason Kidd files for divorce from wife
CNNSI.com is reporting that the New Jersey Nets' guard Jason Kidd is filing for divorce from his wife of 10 years, Joumana Kidd. Sounds to me like someone was doing some Wilt Chamberlain style cheating on their wife and couldn't take the "heat" after she grew tired off it.
Coach Knight tops career wins list
College basketball coach Bobby Knight tied Dean Smith's mark of 879 victories Saturday when Texas Tech beat Bucknell 72-60. Known more so for his temper and wild "tantrums", Knight should sit back and sulk in all the positive press that he's now getting. What's you're favorite Knight college basketball moment?
Las Vegas to host 2007 All Star game
NBA.com is reporting that NBA commissioner David Stern has announced that the 2007 All Star game will be hosted by Las Vegas next year. The NBA All-Star competitions will tip off on Friday, Feb. 16, as the League's top rookies and second-year players square off in the Rookie Challenge.

Sania Mirza advances to Pattaya quarters
Sania Mirza has defeated the crowd favorite Tamarine Tanasugarn 6-4, 2-6, 6-1 at the Pattaya open. It wasn't a pretty match, but Mirza got the job done and will advance to play in the quarterfinals against Mara Santangelo of Italy on Friday. Peng Shuai of China and Sybille Bammer of Austria also made it into the next round yesterday.

Woods and Nordegren having a baby!
SI.com is reporting that Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren are set to have a baby this summer. Woods and Elin Nordegren of Sweden married in October 2004, and Woods has said that he wanted children sooner instead of later. He did not say when in the summer the baby is due, although it likely would be between the U.S. Open and British Open.
Florida wins in Fiesta Bowl... and so does FOX
The Florida Gators are the national college football champs after defeating Ohio State 41-14. In TV ratings for Monday, FOX also came up as a winner. FOX's first-ever BCS bowl telecast delivered a New Year's Day ratings win, but the matchup didn't draw overwhelming numbers. I didn't bother watching most of the game because I'm a passive Georgia Tech fan.

Now that the playoffs have begun, who do you think will meet up in the Super Bowl? Did your favorite team even make it into the playoffs? Will you be watching the game anyway. I was hoping and praying for a miracle that the Atlanta Falcons would be in the competition since I'm a Georgia native. Of course, my hopes were massacred a couple of weeks ago.
