Michael Jackson has just settled a multi-million dollar lawsuit brought up against him by a finance company headed by Damon Dash’s cousin Darien Dash. Darien is also the brother of actress/model Stacey Dash.
While we don’t know the details of the exact settlement agreements, the original claim was that Jackson cheated the New Jersey based company out of $48 million owed them after helping the king of pop refinance a $272 million bank loan and secure $573 million in financing to buy the other half of the Beatles’ song catalog that Sony shared ownership of with Jackson.
For someone who claims to be bankrupt, Michael Jackson sure has a way of continuing to pay the bills.
