Four Hundred and Ninety-Nine dollars!

That’s right! There are reports trickling in that the Playstation 3 is now selling for the slightly reasonable price of $499.
The facts indicates that both Circuit City and Target have implemented the price cut that was rumored to be announced by Sony at this year’s E3.
If you’re in the market for a Blu-ray player that’s currently aspiring to be a next-generation game console then it might be time to drop some cold hard cash on Sony’s system.
However, I’d recommend waiting a little while longer for the possible Triple-A games coming on the horizon.
It’s not like the PS3 is going to be discontinued anytime soon…
