The Transformers are taking over!

The newly released Transformers movie starring Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf set a box office record for a tuesday release this holiday week.

The movie grossed over $27 million dollars on its first full day of cinema showings and looks to give the box office a boost well into the weekend.

Not bad for a bunch of digitized toys… not bad at all.
