Kanye West is a reality; not a cliche!

Kanye West , Fergie and John Legend are scheduled to perform for an upcoming VH1 broadcast that’s part of this year’s Super Bowl festivities. The performance will be called “The Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash” and is scheduled to take place on February 1st in Miami at the NFL Experience, a venue set adjacent to Dolphin Stadium.
The taped-for-broadcast concert will premiere February 3rd on VH1, according to the network.
In other Kanye news (no, nothing related to the ‘music video mutts’ fiasco), West is reportedly working on a television program for Home Box Office (HBO). “I wouldn’t do something as cliché as a reality show,” West said in a statement. “At least give me the credit for being more creative than that… it’s a situational half-hour comedy. It’s fictional, and loosely based on my life.”
I respect Kanye as a great new age musical talent but I think I’ll pass on watching a show that ‘based’ his life story… not matter how ‘loose’ it may be.
