Nyko charges up a better solution

Nyko has released new docks for Nintendo’s Wii-mote and PS3’s Sixaxis controllers. The MSRP for the Wii-mote dock is $29.99. The suggested price for the Sixaxis dock is $39.99.

Unlike the Xbox 360 and Wii, however, the controllers for the PS3 do not have removable rechargable batteries. So Sixaxis gamers are going to have to be without the peripheral while it charges in its dock.
