The ‘Godfather of Soul’ has passed

James Brown, the ‘Godfather of Soul’, died early this Monday morning at Atlanta’s Emory Crawford Long Hospital of congestive heart failure. Brown was 73.

Brown — also known as the hardest working man in show business — was a foundation for funk and will surely be missed.
