The Pursuit of Happyness is a box office success?

Will Smith’s new movie, The Pursuit of Happyness, raked in a total of $26 million dollars over it’s debut weekend at over 2,800 theaters.

The movie cost producers $55 million to make and looks to be heading towards a decent profit.

Personally, I didn’t think it was that great a movie as other reviewers have made it out to be. Will and Jaden Smith both give a good performance but I guess I was expecting something that would provoke more emotion within the viewer.

All-and-all, I wouldn’t call this one an award winning movie.
