'Cloverfield' stomps out the competition
E! Online is reporting that the monster of a flick, "Cloverfield," drew record crowds for a January movie release by taking in $46.1 million over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The film stars Lizzy Caplan, Jessica Lucas, T.J. Miller, and Michael Stahl-David as they "document" an attack on New York City by a giant unknown creature.
Are you ready to Step Up again?
I'd suggest that you make the move to get ready if you're not because Touchstone is poised to release the sequel to 2006's "Step Up" this February. Entitled "Step Up 2 the Streets," the film's cast includes Cassie Ventura, Robert Hoffman, and Briana Evigan. Romantic sparks will fly and maybe a few legs will break as the film storms into theatres soon.
Stacey Dash to appear in Mortal Kombat
According to IMDB.com, Stacey Dash will be playing the part of Tanya in the upcoming film based on the hit video game. The movie is slated to hit theatres in 2010. I think the real question is if Stacey Dash knows any kind of kung fu even though she definitely has the makings of a very athletic body.
The Transformers are taking over!
The newly released Transformers movie starring Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf set a box office record for a tuesday release this holiday week. The movie grossed over $27 million dollars on its first full day of cinema showings and looks to give the box office a boost well into the weekend. Not bad for a bunch of digitized toys... not bad at all.

Finding all the 'Lost' easter eggs
BuddyTV.com has an interesting article already posted about the easter eggs in last night's 'return' episode of LOST on ABC. I caught half of the Lost 'primer' episode and all of the season premiere last night and I have to say that it was pretty good. If it's any indication of what this season will be like then I'd say we'll have a lot of revealing plots to look forward to.

So the ever so talented Jenna Jameson is expanding her 'horizons' according to an article by The Post Chronicle written today. Are there people out there who actually still watch porn on pay-per-view television. In fact, does anybody still pay period to watch porn anymore?
Florida wins in Fiesta Bowl... and so does FOX
The Florida Gators are the national college football champs after defeating Ohio State 41-14. In TV ratings for Monday, FOX also came up as a winner. FOX's first-ever BCS bowl telecast delivered a New Year's Day ratings win, but the matchup didn't draw overwhelming numbers. I didn't bother watching most of the game because I'm a passive Georgia Tech fan.
Who's your Super Bowl matchup choice?
Now that the playoffs have begun, who do you think will meet up in the Super Bowl? Did your favorite team even make it into the playoffs? Will you be watching the game anyway. I was hoping and praying for a miracle that the Atlanta Falcons would be in the competition since I'm a Georgia native. Of course, my hopes were massacred a couple of weeks ago.
Catch Christina in 'Pulse' on DVD
All Christina fans that are remotely interested can have another piece of Milian movie magic when Pulse comes to DVD. Milian co-stars in the horror flick along with Kristen Bell, Ian Somerhalder, Christina Milian, Rick Gonzalez, and Jonathan Tucker. The unrated widescreen DVD is slated to be release on December 5, 2006 (Amazon.com).
Vida Guerra releasing DVD / Album
Supermodel Vida Guerra has been very busy... she's getting ready to release and All-Access DVD, which is slated for release sometime in December of this year, and a new music album through her record label, In Ya Face Records. I, for one, didn't know she was an aspiring singer but I'm sure her fans will eat up anything she puts out.
