Karyn Parsons (born August 9, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actress. Her mother is African American and her father is Caucasian. She is best known for her role as valley girl Hillary Banks on the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which ran from 1990 to 1996. She was cast to co-star in the sitcom Lush Life in 1996 but it was cancelled after three episodes. full story
