Kanye West , Fergie and John Legend are scheduled to perform for an upcoming VH1 broadcast that's part of this year's Super Bowl festivities. The performance will be called "The Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash" and is scheduled to take place on February 1st in Miami at the NFL Experience, a venue set adjacent to Dolphin Stadium.

New York Daily News is reporting that the made for TV movie, "High School Musical," is now become a touring phenomenon. The original movie, made by Disney, was considered "the biggest pop cultural phenomenon of 2006." The soundtrack to the movie was also one of the best selling albums of the year and filming of a sequel is soon to start next year.

James Brown, the 'Godfather of Soul', died early this Monday morning at Atlanta's Emory Crawford Long Hospital of congestive heart failure. Brown was 73. Brown -- also known as the hardest working man in show business -- was a foundation for funk and will surely be missed. Any of our readers out there ever see James Brown perform in person?
