Michael Jackson has just settled a lawsuit brought up against him by a company headed by Damon Dash's cousin Darien Dash. Darien is also the brother of actress/model Stacey Dash. While we don't know the details of the exact settlement agreements, the original claim was that Jackson cheated the New Jersey based company out of $48 million.

There are reports trickling in that the Playstation 3 is now selling for the slightly reasonable price of $499. The facts indicates that both Circuit City and Target have implemented the price cut that was rumored to be announced by Sony at this year's E3. If you're in the market for a Blu-ray player that's currently aspiring to be a game console then it might be time to invest in the PS3.

The newly released Transformers movie starring Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf set a box office record for a tuesday release this holiday week. The movie grossed over $27 million dollars on its first full day of cinema showings and looks to give the box office a boost well into the weekend. Not bad for a bunch of digitized toys... not bad at all.

Apple's new toy, the IPhone, is almost ready to hit the retail store shelves. I can already hear the rumblings of hundreds of Apple consumers bursting through the doors of their local Apple stores in search the new phone that's an IPod... that's a video player... that's a web browser... that's basically going to print tons of money for Apple.

I don't know about you but I can't resist filling my hard drive with free stuff. Thank Microsoft, for the 120GB Elite. GTAIV releases for the 360 this October 2007 and I, for one, can't wait to pick it up.

The second trailer for Rockstar's next iteration in Grand Theft Auto series, entitled "Looking For That Special Someone," is now available online for your viewing pleasure. For now I'll hold my judgement on GTAIV's graphics until I see some gameplay but I will note that I think the trailer's cinematics are intense and intriguing and it looks to not disappoint story-wise.

HighDefDigest.com is reporting that the Blu-ray Disc Association on July 1 will begin offering a "five free discs" deal with the purchase of any new Blu-ray disc player. Between July 1 and September 30, consumers who purchase any new Blu-ray player (including the PlayStation 3) will automatically qualify to receive five free Blu-ray movies (out of a total selection of twenty-two titles).

The newest iteration in the Die Hard series opens at theatres today (June 27th, 2007) and looks to be a thrilling ride... so much so that I'm comtemplating hitting the cinemas as soon as I escape from work. The film stars Bruce Willis (of course) as he takes on an Internet-based terrorist organization thats systematically shutting down the United States.

If you're like me then you're looking forward to this year's Independence Day for reasons other than stuffing your face. One of the summer's biggest blockbusters, Transformers, is scheduled to hit theatres next week on July 3rd. The movie stars Shia LaBeouf , Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Rachael Taylor, Tyrese Gibson, Jon Voight, Anthony Anderson, and John Turturro.
